男主成功的逃脫了，被判無罪，法庭上只有女主和爵士的時候，女主向爵士炫耀，真凶就是被告，為了遺囑的8萬英鎊殺了人，爵士等人都被騙了，女主做這一切都是因為深愛被告。

這時被告回來，女主卻發現被告有了新歡，她被拋棄了，在激動狀態下（爵士在旁邊拚命用眼鏡暗示啊，不停用眼鏡反光照在刀上）用刀捅死了被告，爵士決定為女主辯護，影片結束。
