根据Stephen Edwin King短篇小说拍摄培棚的电影《迷雾 The Mist》，在探索人性的过程中牵扯到了政治、军事、宗教等一系列问题。Mark Isham的配乐则很明显的从宗教的角度介入，第7曲的“The Host Of Seraphim”算是影片中宗教氛围的及至，这首歌曲由Dead Can Dance演唱，这是一支来自澳洲的双人组乐团，英国另类音乐界新古典主义代表，作品汲收了许多欧陆音乐因子（宗教音乐、古典音乐、民族音乐及现代的摇滚、叛客音乐等）。曲目名称“The Host Of Seraphim”可以翻译成“配庆则撒拉弗的军团”或者“撒拉弗的众天使”。炽天使撒拉弗（Seraphim）是上三级（神圣的阶级的天使）之一，这一阶级的天使级别最高，是上帝的近邻，被立于上帝的四周，接受最初的差嫌“神显”与“完全”。圣名“撒拉弗”意思是造热者，传热者，是神的使者中最高位者，唯一的使命(或云本质)就是歌颂神，展现神的爱。乐曲以恢宏的管风琴伴奏，庄严而神圣，女声的高亢诵唱和男声低沉的吟唱交错，歌词大意应该是对神的歌颂。影片中这首歌第一次出现在主角一行驾车离开，这一群“不信神”的人在超市“教众”的注视下，缓缓的驶向未知的迷雾深处。第二次则是在片尾男主角结束了伙伴的生命准备寻死时，云开雾散，一辆辆坦克和救援车辆缓缓的驶过。两处使用都无比的悲壮而又蕴意无穷。影片中类似的诵唱音乐多次出现，很好的烘托了影片的主题。

另一首较长的曲目是第3曲“Bugs”，用快速的电子鼓点带来紧张刺激的效果，标准的Mark Isham风格，把虫子进攻超市的那段推到了高潮，“Spiders”则可以看作是“Bugs”的Reprise。“Mist”则把雾的那种虚无缥缈和气中隐藏的未知的恐惧很好的表现了出来。影片以一首轻快的Jazz曲“The Vicious Blues”终结，大体是想放松观众紧绷的神经吧，出自影片《派克夫人的情人 Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle》(1994)。

整部影片如同《我是传奇》，有大段大段的零配乐场景，目的是一样的，听不见看不见的才是最恐怖的。所以专辑总时长也只有32分钟。总体而言，这是一部标准的Mark Isham作品，动作感十足，听起来畅快淋漓，而以宗教为切入点也处理得很好，大量的诵唱音乐既切合影片的主题，亦达到了悲壮的效果。

在美丽的多多岛上，人们自由自在地生活，这里铁路网络十分发达，人们的出行和货物的运输便靠岛上那群勤劳快乐的小火车来完成。蓝色的火车头托马斯是一个快乐热心肠的小家伙，他和朋友们詹姆斯、爱德华、培西、汉瑞、托比、高登、艾米莉每天在胖总管的安排下，穿梭行驶于整个多多岛，做着各种各样的工作。在这者扮一过程中，由于性格不同，他们之间也发生了许许多多有趣的事情，好玩的故事天天上演……
