It rained. I love rain. I love walking in the rain. And I was soaked. My glasses get all foggy and I have to take them off. And I keep having to blink - so I take tiny snapshots of the way to where I'm walking to. I think its funny that I notice more things around me, waking through the rain, when I can hardly see a thing.

I don't like the way that last paragraph sounds but I will keep it because it is true.

I saw a play. I love plays. Good plays, bad plays, long plays, short plays. I love being in the theatre. But mostly I stay to watch the play end. Because thats when you see the cast grinning, and glowing and nudging, and fill up with a sort of euphoria I've never experienced off-stage. This was a pretty good play. It was a little long. And my bum was sore. But it was a big cast. And they loved what they did. And so it was perfect.

I have a feeling I won't be able to describe this day adequately. That the familiarity of old friends and the apparent excitement of new ones will be lost in trying to pinpoint an ineffable ideal. So I will merely say that yes, many days will envy the perfect insignificance and the unobtrusive exquisiteness of yesterday.
