① 提高大学英语能力的方法

提高大学英语能力的方法

上了大学后，英语证书考试如果不用心准备的话会感觉更难，其实英语学习方法很多，但无论哪种方法，都要做到持之以恒地进行听、说、读、写，并且一定要有足够的重复量，这样才可以快速提升英语水平。一下是我给同学们提高英语的方法。

1.做完题后善于总结

可以准备一个错题本，把自己做错的题总结出不同类别，防止再发生同样的错误，这也是迅速提升成绩的办法之一。

2.不怕嘲笑

英语的学习首先要自己想学。要大胆说英语，不怕英语好的'人笑。多向别人虚心学习。

3.严格制订学习计划，每天持之以恒

语言需要应用和练习，可以严格在每天固定时间进行英语学习，坚持不懈。可以在清晨5：30—7：00进行听力和朗诵、晚上7：30—9：30进行单词学习，清晨的时候人的听觉非常灵敏，对听说的训练颇为重要，而晚8点前后人的记忆力处于高峰期。

4.用英语唤醒大脑

认真听、反复听英语听力材料。基本节奏是同一篇文章连续反复听5遍，每篇文章连续听一周之后换新文章。文章可以是大学英语文章、研究生英语文章以及难度和长度更大一些的英语内容。训练标准是，能够分辨出读者的每一个单字读音和音节处理。如果一篇文章的通篇达到这个程度，也可以换新文章。文章的难度可以渐进。这个方法坚持下来可以明显提升听力成绩。

5.讲英语故事，朗诵背诵英语佳篇

在清晨阅读英语，每天朗诵一篇文章即可。这一篇文章连续朗诵至少十遍。但每一遍朗诵，都要非常投入，把自己想象成为电视台主持人或主播在主持节目，不是在渎英语而是在用心，声情并茂地讲故事。慢慢就会发现自己一遍比一遍朗诵得好，这个方法可以快速培养你的英语语感。

目标最佳状态是可以脱稿把这个内容讲述给另外一个人听。文章的选择也很重要，每天最基本看懂一篇《大学英语》或者《新视野大学英语读写教程》中的文章，建议选择话题广泛、内容优美的文集和自己感兴趣的话题，特别推荐美国总统、克林顿等演说和名家短篇、重大新闻题材。

6.嚼烂英语或双语字幕电影

相信很多大学生都很喜欢看电影，可以多看看英文电影、美剧，等等，语言从生活中来，多看看电影也会提升听说能力，对听力及作文和写作都有帮助题材的选择不建议选枪战和动作片，包括感情戏，因为对话太单调、太简单。鼓励选择历史剧、剧情片、励志题材等。可以看看奥斯卡获奖影片，《老友记》也是不错的选择。

7.英语无处不在

既然学习英语，就无时无刻都用英语，要敢于说英语，只要对方懂英语，就全用英语表达，除非实在不知道单词，也要用各种已知单词尽量描述，直到说清楚。

当然，每个人都有自己的方法，可以综合借鉴。其实英语学习方法很多，但无论哪种方法，都要做到持之以恒地进行听、说、读、写，并且一定要有足够的重复量，这样才可以快速提升英语水平。

Interestingly, despite the fact that Chaplin came from Britain, he was much more popular in other countries than in his own mother country. The truth is that most English people considered the Tramp a little crude. It was generally thought by them that he had too much of an eye for the ladies and that his clothes gave him an appearance more like an Italian waiter than anything else. All in all the image was not gentleman-like according to many English people.

However, the silent movies helped Chaplin to conceal his true nationality from American audiences. He once put off making a talking movie until 1936 when he made up a nonsense language which sounded like no known nationality. He said he thought of the Tramp as an ecated man who had fallen on hard times. The truth is, however, that he was seen probably popular because he as character who revolted against the privileged classes.

信息技术高速发展，知识更新速度加快，以及对学生素质要求的不断提高，使我们不得不认真思考在教学中如何培养学生的自主学习能力，从而达到终身教育的问题。课堂教学不仅要培养学生的语言应用能力，还要帮助学生养成良好的自主学习习惯。

2自主性学习(Autonomous Learning)

当代语言学习理论强调学习者在学习过程中的决定性作用和学习者的自主性。大量的研究表明语言教学过程中最主要的因素是学习者而不是教师，教学应以学生为主，学习者是学习的主体。因此，英语教学课是培养学生学习能力的技能培养课而不是纯粹向学生灌输知识的学问课。

3自主学习能力的培养

3．1明确教师的角色和作用

伽利略曾指出：“你永远不能教给一个人任何事情；你只能帮助他从自身发现”。语言教学中“教”的含义实际上就是“帮助”，一些语言教育研究者把教师的角色，概括为“帮助者”。教师不仅要明确并能完成自己的角色，而且应该适时地进行角色转化。在这一指导思想下进行的课堂教学才能满足学习者的需求。

3．2教学课件的制作和应用

(1)教师根据教材中提供的网站，下载课堂需要的图片及相关背景知识。这不仅开阔学生的视野，增加了文化知识，而且充分调动了学生的积极性，使他们能够参与其中。根据课文背景不同，教师给学生布置一些任务，让学生课后去网络上查询背景知识，并在课堂上展示给大家，这充分开发了学生自主学习的空间，培养了学生独立学习的能力，这比教师的直接讲解要好得多。当他们得到教师和其他学生的赞赏时，就有了学习的成就感，进而学习的积极性，主动性被调动起来，学习的节奏也加快了。讨论一般安排在课文结束，课堂讨论主要以课文内容为主。如《新视野大学英语》第三册第五课讲述的是一位医护工作者陪伴一位奄奄一息的病人走完人生最后一晚的故事。针对中西医临床班的专业特点，在课文结束后，笔者给学生看了一段从网上下载的医护工作者护理癌症晚期病人的英文小短片，让大家谈谈自己对医患关系以及对生与死的看法。因为和自己专业相关，所以学生们讨论得非常热烈，教学效果明显。

(2)课文讲解完后，除了让学生完成课本中的习题，还根据每篇课文的内容，设计了翻译和作文，让学生课下独立完成，将课后作业以E-mail的形式交给教师，教师再集中某时间段进行讲解。

3．3开展课内外教学活动培养学生自主学习能力

为了培养学生的自主学习能力，教师引导学生制定学习计划，选择学习方式的习惯，从而让学生逐步走向自主。为了鼓励大家说英语，每次上课前教师让学生做有准备的presentation时，用数码录像机或照相机将学生的表演记录下来。从认知心理学角度讲，学生自己选择演讲内容，确定演技形式，培养了自主学习的能力。07护理涉外的6名学生在一次做presentation时，为大家表演了精心准备的英文舞台剧Robbcry，教师不但把整个的表演录制下来，而且对此提出表扬和鼓励，表演的学生兴奋不已，没表演的学生也跃跃欲试。学生的自主学习能力是相当有潜力的，后来该班学生独立编排了一幕别开生面的Snow White，大量的背景画面、音乐、道具及精彩的表演真的将我们带入了那个神秘的童话世界，课堂上掌声不断。当然这只是一些较好的例子，大部分学生还做不到这样，但教师要鼓励学生积极参与到教学活动中。同时教师可以推荐学生有趣有用的英语学习网站，在那里，学生们可以结识志同道合的英语爱好者，交流学习英语的体会。我还推荐学生ppstream网站上精彩的英文电影或欧美的电视剧，Friends，Desperate Housewives是我推荐给学生的众多英文电视剧中的两部，学生通过欣赏欧美影片不但获得了乐趣而且锻炼了自己的听力，了解到美国人不同的风俗习惯，还不知不觉学会了很多地道的美国俚语表达方式。

练习听力

当你听一篇六级的听力文章，听第一遍的时候，你可能只听懂了几句话，但是不要紧，继续听。听第二遍的时候可能你听懂了一部分了。

这个时候你可以对照着原文，边看原文边听听力，了解整个文章的大概意思和脉络。之后，不要去看听力原文，而是逐字逐句地听听力。一边听，一边把句子给写下来，直到写下一篇为止。第一次精听一篇文章，可能需要两个小时左右。但是不要紧，一旦用上这个方法，听十篇左右的文章，你的听力水平就会突飞猛进。假设你一天只听一篇文章，十篇文章就足以迅速提高自己的听力。

你可以先从基础的听力入手，如果上了大学使用的是《新视野大学英语》，有相关的听力教材，如果上听力课你没有完全听懂，你可以反复地听，因为每套教材都配有关盘，大一的时候如果不考四级，这一年你可以这样做，到了大一下学期你可以加入一些四级真题的训练，一开始量不要太大，逐渐加强，到了大二时可以多加入一些四级听力练习；平时也可以增加一些晨读任务，感兴趣的话多看看英文电影，尽量给自己创造一个英语的学习环境，因为语言学习需要循序渐进，心急不得！我来自很落后的小城镇，自己当年高考英语才90几分，上大学后就是这么学的英语，我现在有专业八级证书，完全是自己努力获得的，我在大学和高中都教过书，只要你坚持下去，四级考试小菜一碟！
