【内容简介】
这是一部由制片人杰里.布鲁克海默推出的最新影片，它讲述了兰德尔.雷恩斯（尼古拉斯.凯奇饰）一个人称“孟菲斯”的窃车大盗的传奇故事。

孟菲斯是个窃车高手，世界上再奇特的车锁，再灵敏的警报系统只要到了他的手里也只是件小摆设。你不信？把车停在这试试，孟菲斯一到，六十秒之内，它就会不翼而飞。多年以来他还从未失过手，法律也没法制裁他。不过他倒是终因感到这样的生活压力太大，而决心金盘洗手，停止这项“工作”，过正常人的生活。然而不久他的小弟弟（乔万尼.里比斯饰）却试图步其后尘，当他卷入一桩危险交易时，孟莫斯不得不重操一次旧业，他要挽救小兄弟的生命。

周末的洛杉矶街头，一场亡命飞车大战又将拉开序幕。

在这部号称“更快速度和更多激情”的续集中，布莱恩·欧康纳(保罗·沃克)继续在第1集中的卧底警探身份，上次他故意搞砸了一场策划多时的飞车抢劫调查案，自己的卧底身份也被飞车党揭穿，虽然证明了自己的义气，但是却也因此付出了惨重代价--欧康纳失去了警徽，当然也没法在洛杉矶洛继续混下去了。

若干时日后，在一个不同的城市，欧康纳却意外得到了一次翻身的机会。迈阿密的联邦探员试图得到一名不法商人的把柄，他叫卡特·维隆(科尔·豪瑟)，多年来一直在利用自己经营的进出口贸易公司当掩护，进行国际洗钱的勾当，海关和联邦调查局一年来都在严密监视维隆的一举一动，却除了发现他喜欢非法的街头飚车活动外一无所获。在走投无路之下，调查局只好请欧康纳出马，想安排他混入迈阿密的街头飞车党，希望能以此为突破口逮到这名国际洗钱组织的首脑。

反叛不羁的欧康纳马上开出一个条件，他坚持要和自己的死党、前科犯罗曼·皮尔斯(泰瑞斯·吉布森)携手合作，因为他不但是一个犯罪高手，更是一个技术高超的飚车族。负责此案的联邦探员马克·汉答应欧康纳，只要能破案，就把皮尔斯所有案底一笔勾消。于是，这对前科犯和前任卧底警探再度联手组成飚车拍档。

《飙风再起》是2001年暑期票房黑马《速度与激情》的精采续集。本片导演是曾获奥斯卡奖提名的著名黑人导演约翰·辛格顿，辛格顿比较知名的作品包括《街区少年》、《***小男孩》(Baby
Boy)，以及萨缪尔·杰克逊主演的《神探沙夫特》(Shaft)，他对于动作影片节奏的掌握一向颇为人称道，何况比起第1集4千万美元的预算，这次环球公司欣然投入1亿5千万的巨款投资这部续集，加入了更多更火爆的特技飞车场面，显然是希望第1集的票房奇迹能继续在这个暑期上演。《飙风再起》于去年在迈阿密开拍，然后转战奥兰多、纽约、洛杉矶等不同的地点进行取景，就连联邦调查局的临时指挥中心也破例为剧组提供了拍摄场地，片中的一些火爆的赛车场面则是在太平洋海岸公路以及威斯康辛的草原道上拍摄而成。

除了男主角保罗·沃克这回走出范·迪塞尔的影子独挑大梁之外，其它演员的阵容也颇为值得关注，他们包括曾出演《太阳之泪》的演技派男星柯尔·豪瑟，歌手出身的黑人明星泰瑞斯·吉布森将出任主角的铁哥们儿皮尔斯，另外CHANEL独宠的超级名模、混血美女青木戴文也会出现在片中，据说她将驾驶一辆夺人眼球的超炫粉红色拉风跑车，和主角沃克的御用坐驾--一辆改装过的金黄色跑车相映生辉。

虽然凭借第1集火速蹿红的新生代动作明星范·迪塞尔拒绝出演续集，但是更炫的跑车，更新的拍摄场景，充斥迈阿密街头的流氓、杀人犯、贪污警察和超酷的飚车族，再加上一名什么都无所谓的前科罪犯和一名把一切都豁出去的前任警探，火爆的动作当然一触即发。影片中充满着更多、更刺激的追车场面，相信会在这个炎热的暑期让观众大呼过瘾。
