人们都知道，在镇子东边的森林里有一座被玫瑰花丛包围的城堡，那些美丽花朵下的荆棘守护着那里，守护着在那个已经一百年没有人进去过的城堡里沉睡的公主。大家都记得那些美丽的花朵，记得比花朵更美丽的睡美人；同等的，也就忘记了花下的荆棘，以及那位公主的名字——奥萝拉。

“奥萝拉公主，已经是早上了，您看，今天的天气多好。”奥萝拉睁开眼睛，一个侍女走进来，为她穿衣。

一个月前，一位英俊的王子来到了这座被施了魔法的城堡前，那时荆棘上的玫瑰正在大朵的绽放，也许它们也知道——自己的寿命马上要结束了，所以开的比一百年来的任何一天都美丽都鲜红。

王子的到来让整个城堡都获得了新生，门廊里的风，火炉里的火，喷泉里的水，还有原先生长在花园里的其他植物全都从静止中挣脱出来，之后，王子轻轻的一吻让城堡里所有的人也醒了过来。美丽的奥萝拉公主，还不知道自己夫君的名字便已经与他走上了教堂的红毯。

“我真的醒来了。”奥萝拉看着窗外的晨光，边让侍女服侍着自己，边这样想着，一只绿色的小鸟落在打开窗户的窗台上，啾啾的叫着，为公主唱出婉转的歌儿。“这不会再是做梦了。”

一百年的沉睡，其实就是一百年的孤独，奥萝拉一个人在梦里，寻找那个能把她唤醒的男人。但梦境终究是梦境，所有的人都在她伸手去触摸的一瞬消失，融入空气里的一缕懒洋洋的日光，等着在她的下一个梦里出现。

“今夜，王子为您准备了舞会，下午还有马术表演。”侍女看自己的主人不说话，便开始喋喋不休的对她说着一天的安排——其实从公主醒来后，每天的日子几乎都是一样的，王子为了让公主开心不停的举行着各种庆祝舞会还有杂耍和歌舞剧表演，但是奥萝拉一直都郁郁寡欢，难以展现出幸福的笑颜。


“是你觉得我不够爱你吗？”王子曾经这样问她，她摇摇头，因为她也不知道——是王子真的对她一见钟情，还是她自己又走入了一个自己编织的梦境。所以在晚宴上，当王子为她拉开座椅时，她总是犹犹豫豫的坐下，而舞会上，当王子向她伸手，她总是看着那只带着白色手套的大手发呆——那只手会不会也像过去一样，在她眼前消失呢？

“我们要见睡美人！！！”一些粗俗的声音，从城墙外传来。

“怎么了？”奥萝拉问着自己的侍女，侍女也不知道发生了什么事情，便急急忙忙的跑出去，想看个究竟。

过了一会儿，王子走了进来，城墙外的喊声越来越大，还能听到一些钝器相撞的声音——有人正试图砸开城堡的大门。

“和我去城楼上看看吧？”王子再次向奥萝拉伸出手，但是她只是点点头，示意王子走在她的前面。

“发生什么事情了？”她问。

“西边镇子里的那些村民不知为什么，都来到了城堡前，说要见你。”

“为什么？”

“他们不对我说。”

城楼上，奥萝拉看到城外站着上百个人，人们看到睡美人出现，便都安静了下来，也许是被她的美丽震撼，也许仅仅是在叫嚣后的休息。然后，一个女人突然叫了出来：“说！你把玫瑰都藏到哪里去了？！”

“玫瑰？……”奥萝拉听着那人的问话，一脸不知所措的样子。她不知道，在她沉睡的这一百年里，包围着城堡的玫瑰便成了城堡周围那唯一一座小镇的特产，大朵的鲜红的玫瑰，而且永远不会枯萎，永远都那么芬芳。但是自从她醒来后，玫瑰丛便消失了，那些已经被卖出的玫瑰也同时枯萎了，许许多多买了花的客人纷纷找到了镇上，要他们为他们的谎言作出解释和赔偿——永不凋谢的花朵，也有枯黄的一天。

“不要一脸无知的样子，从你醒来后，我们就找不到玫瑰了！一定都是被你藏了起来！你在城堡里每天都过着奢华的日子，我们却在挨饿，还遭到莫须有的指责！！”城外那些人越说越激动，很多人又开始用大木桩撞击城门，试图闯进城堡，抢到一些好处。

王子看着奥萝拉苍白的脸，轻轻的对她说：“你先回去休息吧，知道了原因，问题就由我来解决。”

“这……”

“回去吧，我的公主，我就是死了，也是为您而死。”王子平静的说着，翡翠一般的绿色眼睛里，全是公主的忧郁。

“好，但是请您一定要小心。”奥萝拉第一次这样恋恋不舍的看着他，在侍女的陪同下，回到的城堡里。

后来，王子通过与镇上长老的谈判，决定用自己国家的钱来补贴镇里的损失——奥萝拉的国家早在一百年前便消失了，现在她所有的财富就是那座城堡。她对王子的宽容还有他无私的帮助感到愧疚，但是没过多久，那种愧疚也不复存在了，那个镇子里突然爆发了热病，镇子里的人、去镇子里讨债的人全都被传染，不能走的只好在那里等死，能走的便都离开了那片不祥的土地。

又过了一年，奥萝拉公主生下了一个可爱的小王子（她都不和王子接触，怎么会有小王子？——魔法时代有什么是不可能的呢？），王子决定请当初为奥萝拉祝福的十二位仙女来为小王子洗礼。

于是在洗礼日当天，城堡的大餐桌上摆了十二个金盘——那也是在奥萝拉出生时使用过的。十二个仙女从十二个方位赶来，为可爱的小王子祝福，一个送给他宽容、一个送给他正义、另一个送给他爱心……十二个仙女送了使他会成为一个善良人的所有必备品德，但就在第十二个仙女放下魔杖的时候，那个诅咒奥萝拉死亡的邪恶仙女出现了。她二话不说，扑向了那个睡着小王子的摇篮，就在千钧一发之际，王子衡到了邪恶仙女面前，并用手中的宝剑砍向了她。

“你给我让开！”邪恶仙女用嘶哑的声音叫着，一手拿着法杖，另一只手则捂着自己被砍伤的肩膀。

“不！要伤害我的孩子除非从我的尸体上踏过去！”

“不要以为我不会杀了你！”邪恶仙女一边盯着王子，一边观察着奥萝拉和十二位仙女的动向。奥萝拉颤抖着，坐在宝座上，一百多年前，在她还是个婴孩时曾感受到的恐怖在此刻复苏，而那十二位仙女却已经没了踪影，不知消失在哪扇窗子后了。

“城堡、玫瑰和荆棘，
骷髅、老鼠和蝙蝠，
举刀必定伤自己，
自作自受诅咒起！”

邪恶仙女的嘴里咕喃着奇怪的咒语，王子则再次举剑向她刺来——在眨眼的功夫里，那把剑变换了方向，插进了他自己的胸膛。

“王子！！”奥萝拉的身上终于回复了力气，她从宝座上跑了下来，第一次，也是最后一次，紧紧的抱住了王子。从王子伤口上流出的血染红了她水蓝色的长裙，也吸走了她脸上最后的一丝红色。

“你终于肯碰我了……”王子微微睁着眼睛，嘴角无力的向上挑了挑。

“是的，这都不是在做梦，你是真的，我是真的，为什么……为什么我知道的那么晚呢？……”奥萝拉哭了，她的眼泪滴在王子的伤口上，更多的血便不停的流了出来，“你等着，我给你去拿药……”

“不用了……这样就够了……”王子说着，用最后的力气拔出带在腰上的小刀，就在奥萝拉还没有反应过来的时候一刀割破了她的喉咙，美丽的睡美人甚至没有来得及再看一眼那个突然杀了她的人，便永远的睡过去了——城堡外又开始有玫瑰丛生长，而玫瑰的养料便是那永远飘忽不定的梦境。

邪恶仙女看着那两个人，从容不迫的抱起了小王子，从东方的窗口飞了出去。王子用他已经朦胧的眼睛看着她的离去，并用最后的生命呢喃着：

“母亲……大……人…………”
