国王发觉阿拉丁的城堡和公主都不见了，非常生气。他限阿拉丁在叁十天以内把公主找回来，不然就要处死刑。
阿拉丁问遍了所有的人，谁也不知道他的妻子和城堡到哪儿去了。到了第叁天早上，他洗手的时候擦到戒指，戒指神又出现了。他要戒指神帮他把公主找回来。可是戒指神没有那麽大的法力，只能把他送到非洲。
阿拉丁到非洲找到了他的妻子和城堡，但是没办法拿到那一盏油灯。因为法师不管到哪儿去，都把油灯带在身上。他的妻子想到了一个主意，说：「这个坏人想要我嫁给他，我一直没答应他。你去拿点儿安眠药来给我。然后我假装对他好，跳舞给他看。等他不注意的时候，就把药放在酒里，骗他喝下去。这样我们就可以拿到油灯了。」
法师不知道是计，见公主对他那么好，高兴地喝下那杯酒，倒在地上睡着了。
於是，阿拉丁拿到了油灯，教灯神把整个城堡搬回来原来的地方。

"It is true. Mustapha did have a brother, but I never knew him," Aladdin's mother said. "My husband has left us with nothing, and Aladdin has no job."
"I want to help your son," said the magician. "I will build him a shop. He can sell fruit or shoes or clothing. Then you will have money."

"You are too far, Uncle," Aladdin said. "I don't want to break the lamp. Wait until I come up the steps..."
阿拉丁把灯里的油倒出来，接着返回阶梯处，魔术师听到他来了。
他告诉阿拉丁说：“停在那里，把灯丢给我。”

The magician got very angry. He threw some more powder on the fire, and the stone rolled on top of the hole. Suddenly, everything around Aladdin was dark.

"I feel hungry," said Aladdin. "Can you get me something to eat?"

阿拉丁走完地道，到了一个地窖里。地窖里除了有一盏点着的油灯以外，还有许多美丽的珠宝，看得他两眼发呆。过了好一会儿，他才抓了几把珠宝塞进口袋儿，吹熄油灯，倒掉灯油，拿起油灯往回走。
法师等得不耐烦，在洞口大吼：「你死在下面了！快把油灯拿上来！你在干什么？」
阿拉丁听法师的口气很凶，有点儿害怕。他愣了一下，没有马上回答。法师气得「砰」地一声把石门关上了。
阿拉丁推不动石门，急得直喊。无意中，他的手擦了戒指一下，眼前突然出现了一个巨人。巨人说：「我是戒指神，谁有你戴的戒指，我就听谁的指挥。你要我做什么？」
阿拉丁定定心，说：「请你带我回家吧！」说完就发觉自己到了家里。
过了几天，阿拉丁想把油灯擦干净。不料他刚擦了叁下，忽然又有一个巨人出现。巨人说：「我是灯神。谁有了我，我就听谁的指挥做事。」
阿拉丁起先吃了一惊，后来说：「你给我办一桌酒席来！」话还没说完，眼前就出现了一桌酒席。
阿拉丁跟他母亲吃完，心里很高兴。以后的日子里，他们需要什么，就擦油灯，教灯神去做。这样儿过了些日子。阿拉丁听说国王要给公主找一个丈夫，就教灯神给他变了一座城堡，把自己打扮成王子一样，请母亲带着他从地窖拿来的珠宝，去献给国王，向国王求亲。
国王见阿拉丁长的英俊，又有钱，就把公主嫁给了他。
法师知道了这件事，化装成卖油灯的，天天在阿拉丁的城堡附近叫：「旧油指换新油灯！」
公主听到，想起了阿拉丁当宝贝一样珍藏的旧油灯，就教仆人拿去，换了一盏新油灯。
法师一拿到神灯，立刻擦了叁下，变出灯神，吩咐灯神说：「把整个城堡给我搬到非洲去！」
灯神把城堡搬走了。
国王发觉阿拉丁的城堡和公主都不见了，非常生气。他限阿拉丁在叁十天以内把公主找回来，不然就要处死刑。
阿拉丁问遍了所有的人，谁也不知道他的妻子和城堡到哪儿去了。到了第叁天早上，他洗手的时候擦到戒指，戒指神又出现了。他要戒指神帮他把公主找回来。可是戒指神没有那麽大的法力，只能把他送到非洲。
阿拉丁到非洲找到了他的妻子和城堡，但是没办法拿到那一盏油灯。因为法师不管到哪儿去，都把油灯带在身上。他的妻子想到了一个主意，说：「这个坏人想要我嫁给他，我一直没答应他。你去拿点儿安眠药来给我。然后我假装对他好，跳舞给他看。等他不注意的时候，就把药放在酒里，骗他喝下去。这样我们就可以拿到油灯了。」
法师不知道是计，见公主对他那么好，高兴地喝下那杯酒，倒在地上睡着了。
於是，阿拉丁拿到了油灯，教灯神把整个城堡搬回来原来的地方。
国王见公主回来了，心里很高兴。他原谅了阿拉丁，但是却把坏心眼的法师关进了地牢。随后阿拉丁又把母亲接来，一块儿过着快乐幸 的日子。
