他从“跳舞的汽车”里面找衣服和钱，那是他的免费的服装店和银行，有时候也从路上站着的盲人前面的罐子里拿，想拿多少拿多少。他不小心被车撞了，撞人的见他不说话，以为他失忆了，想逃走的瞬间又发了善心，把他带回了家。他想拉住他的手，以便学会地球的语言，可是没人让他拉手，撞人的哥们以为他想女人了，带他去妓院，他拉着女人的手，六个小时一动不动，终于原封不动的学会了女人的话。

他离开小地方，来到大城市寻找遥控，没地方睡觉就故意在马路边尿尿，这样就能进警察局了。他在寻找的过程中得知，人们嘴里有个神，他无所不能，一定可以帮助自己找到遥控，他拜了佛，用酒去拜真主，用食物和钱去拜基督，因为他的方法不对，每每被人追赶着打，被人叫做pk（喝多了的人）。这个世界有太多神了，信仰神的又分成太多个团体，每个神有不同的禁忌，每个团体有不同的要求，这让他很头大。为了回家，他选择信每一个神，不管什么佛教，还是基督教，是神就信，一个偶然的机会，他在一个佛教宣讲会上看到了自己的遥控，可是那个佛教头头愣说那是佛的碎片。

《我的个神啊》是由印度演员阿米尔汗主演的一部喜剧电影：影片讲述了一个带着研究人类目的来到地球的外星人PK（阿米尔·汗饰）落入地球上的印度，因为能让他回家的飞船遥控器通讯装置被人偷窃，无法回归自己的星球，被迫留在拉贾斯坦邦沙漠一系列遭遇。

导演用力非常巧，PK抨击借神发财的行为，不说行骗，而说是拨了一个错误的号码。这恰是宝莱坞电影的惯用手法，对黑暗的现实有所揭露，却有点到即止，给观众以希望。

就像本片中，对印度和巴基斯坦的矛盾、教派冲突引发的火车爆炸、监狱里警察的受贿行为都有表现，但常常是一触即收，让人看到印度社会的弊端，又不会令人过于绝望。

另外，世俗化的故事之外，印象深刻的还有关于印度教的教义问题。作为东方的两个古老宗教印度教和佛教都源于印度的婆罗门教，今天的印度社会，仍以印度教为宗教信仰系统的主体。
