“Where you go?” “Go home.”这是《极盗者》这部电影最后的一组对话。这组对话也是男主角犹他在规劝极限挑战者博迪不要挑战明知是去送死的冲浪运动失败后，转身离开之时，犹他与飞机驾驶员的一句对话。“Go home.” 回家。
犹他从七年前因和他一起做极限运动的好友意外身亡后，他便放弃了他所追求的极限，他的身心从那时候开始就无处可安，四处流浪。直到犹他当了FBI，碰到了由极限挑战者策划实施的全球性银行抢劫案件，在大家都对这些能从飞机上直接坠落的逃犯束手无策之时，他凭借着对极限运动的了解以及对极限运动者心理述求的掌控，他开始了对一系列超出人类正常犯罪事件的调查。
为了进行案件的调查，犹他在极限运动的爱好者中当了卧底，在他卧底期间，他跟随者极限运动者又开始了他曾“弃之不舍，如鲠在喉”的极限运动，不可否认的是，在他舍弃七年之久的极限运动并未曾因时间而显出生疏，他的技术让这群爱好者渐渐地接受了他。而犹他在与这群爱好者的长期接触中也慢慢的了解到这群人的追求——自然。主张人类回归自然，主张人类从地球自然的索取要同等的反馈给自然，从而达到生态自然的平衡。而这却也是这部电影的主题。
这群极盗者运用着超脱于人类极限的运动方式进行了一系列的犯罪，他们穿过云层把资本主义银行家的美元从飞机里洒下，他们骑着摩托穿梭于险峻的陡坡炸毁了开采十年的美洲金矿，是的，他们做的事情在人类法则里是触碰到壁垒的，是要受到惩罚的。但是开采了数十年的金矿，伤痕累累的地球难道是没有怨言的吗？只是我们自我忽略了很多。
自身的角色不同，利益所处的方位不同，所要求的、所看到的也就不尽然相同。
那是他自己选择的路，而路的尽头能遇到什么，每个人都无法预见，所以有什么后果你自己要担着，因为是你选的路。最后，犹他所要逮捕的犯罪团伙每一个人都回归了尘土。这个是不是也代表了什么，导演的安排也是觉得这样的死去会比最后逮捕面临监禁要更为合理的多。因为他们所作的一系列犯罪只不过是代言了地球，如果最后被逮捕进监狱，影片的美感也是顿时下降。
