这是一部被称为男人必看的电影，因为它会教你如何做一个男人；
这也是一部被称为女人必看的电影，因为它会让你更加理解男人。

教父-主题曲
之前也向朋友推荐过这部电影，但很多人都觉得这部电影时间太长，节奏太慢，看不下去。（教父系列总共有三部，每部将近3小时）。我第一次看的时候，也看不下去。但这一次却一口气把三部曲看完了。（其实10月就完了这部电影，一直想写个影评，但是太忙，一直拖到现在）
我觉得用电影中的三个场景，就可以概括整部电影：
这句话出现在第一部开场时的婚礼，导演通过迈克与凯之间的对话来介绍唐-柯里昂家族的背景。在结束的时候，迈克对凯说了这样一句话， “That's my family Kay. It's not me” , 表明自己与家族的关系。
这个场景出现在第一部最后部分。从父亲被刺杀重伤，为了保护家庭，迈克不得已去暗杀了警长和毒枭索拉索，为此只能远走意大利西西里，并且不能够和Kay联系。在大哥Sunny被暗杀之后，只能回来“继承父业”。在父亲去世，停战协议失效之后，迈克开始了一系列的复仇活动。在复仇结束之后，出现了这一幕，新教父的“加冕仪式”，这标志着新一代教父的诞生，也标志着，那个曾经说“That's my family Kay. It's not me”的迈克已经不存在了。
教父一心想洗白自己和家族“黑帮”的背景，一直想让自己家族生意合法化。但是，这就像无间道中的刘建明，“之前没得选择，现在想做一个好人”，教父在终极无间中不断地挣扎，反而越陷越深，反而被吞噬。

剧终，出现了这样一幕。在西西里的破旧的院子里，一个独孤的老人坐在一条凳子上，身边只有一条小狗，没有家人的陪伴，然后慢慢地从凳子上倒下，一代教父以这种落寞和孤寂的方式谢幕。我在想，在迈克慢慢倒下的过程中，他是否口中在喃喃自语到： “That's my family, Kay. It's not me”.
最后，这一幕运镜和转场的处理。我不得不佩服导演科波拉， 不愧是大师级别。第一个场景是迈克和女儿在舞会上舞蹈的回忆，然后跳转到第一任妻子婚礼时候的跳舞的场景，再跳转到和凯在第二部晚会跳舞的场景，在这个场景中，迈克曾经许诺凯在五年之内家族生意合法化。这几个转场都有一个动作“舞蹈”连贯，并没有太多突兀感，最后那个跳舞的画面逐渐淡去，慢慢浮现出来一个苍老的面孔。虽然这个转场有点突兀，但如果你慢慢体会，就能够体会到导演运镜的巧妙。以前美好的回忆与迈克现在孤寂的场景形成了非常强烈的对比，这种反差，更加能够表现迈克的“悲剧人生”的色彩。
教父三部曲系列，最精彩的莫过于教父内心的冲突和挣扎。从心理学的角度，人行为产生的动机，无外乎两个因素，内心的渴望和外在的压力。正是在内部心理的“It's not me”和外部压力下的“That's my family”的这种激烈的冲突下面，才成就了教父这个丰满的形象。
剧中，有一段迈克和他母亲的一段对话，我认为很好地概括了迈克的内心冲突。
可能每个人，甚至同一个人在不同的人生阶段看这部电影都会有不同的感受。就像我第一次看这部电影，应该是刚上大学的时候，那个时候感觉这部电影剧情太多余拖沓，节奏太慢，看到一半就放弃了。但是现在第二次看，我觉得我看懂了这部电影，可能几年之后，人生多了一些阅历之后，可能又会有新的感受。

罗斯收买了迈克尔的哥哥弗雷多为他提供情报，企图暗杀迈克尔。但迈克尔也已对罗斯采取了暗杀行动。迈克尔含泪处置了弗雷多，却不禁回忆起当年父子兄弟间其乐融融的情景。迈克尔的不法行为终究为他招来了麻烦。政府展开了对他的调查。迈克尔受到了一系列的指控。然而借助权术，迈克尔又一次转危为安，逃脱了法律的制裁。
