Hello, everyone, my topic today is “The ShawShank Redemption”. Prison as a special place for prisoners is part of the society. It’s special because of its depriving the freedom of the prisoners. The prisoners in that situation are more sensitive to freedom than people in other situations. When they lost it, they found that it was so necessary to them that they looked forward to regaining it. By contrast, the people lived in the political society were interested in courting the fame and gain. They lost most of their inherent character. They put their soul into the fence of their own. They gave up the freedom of thinking. They forgot their original dream. The demands of the spirit were materialized to a position or some numbers.

A prisoner spent almost all the life in the prison. When he got the parole, which was applied for many years but without reply, he didn’t feel happy, but sad. He wanted to go to the prison again. He wanted to live in the place he knew. In the prison, he was a key who had knowledge and position. But when he went out of the prison, he found he was only an old man without anything. He couldn’t finish his work quickly because his hands had suffered the arthritis. Unfortunately, he even had no power to struggle. As a result, He chose to suicide because it was the only thing he could do by himself.

Red was a superman in the prison. He could find things that weren’t in the prison at all. But when he went out of the prison, he could do nothing. He lived in the fear and felt so lonely. He loved freedom but he couldn’t realize his value. In this film, Red said, “Hope is a dangerous thing. Drive a man insane. Nothing will take place here. You’d better get used to the idea. These walls here are kinds of funny. At the beginning, you hate them, then you will get used to them. As time passes, you will depend on them. That's institutionalizing.”

In this film, Andy as the symbol of the hope lived in the prison for 20 years. He remained his dream all the time. On one hand, he looked forward to getting freedom. On the other hand, he believed that he was innocent of the murder. The real reason was his profound thought about hope. In his opinion, hope is a good thing, maybe the best thing, and no good things ever die. It makes a strong man save himself, and a great man save another one. According to this idea, the life in prison for 20 years did not made Andy give up the hope, but made him comprehend the meaning of the life. In fact, hope is a mood without ambition but it really exists.

The sky, the sea and the beach compose a romantic picture. When Andy and Red, two weather-beaten friends, saw each other again in the island, all hardship of 20 years made Andy tougher and their friendship get harder as the same.

My feeling of the film Notting Hill

It’s an old film which showed us a romantic love story. After watching it, I have some feelings to share.

Firstly, I think it’s far away from our real world. At least, I never thought I can have such an opportunity to be with a famous star. It is just like a dream. Because they are in different classes. Maybe they cannot share common interests and topics. Their life styles and friends can be different as well. However, it just happened in the film, maybe it is the reason why this film is so attractive and popular. After all, art comes from our lives and higher than lives. But I still insist that equal status as well as perfect match is really significant. Secondly, that two guys, Anna and William, they fall in love at the first sight, which impressed me a lot. Nowadays, plenty of people talk about if they can fall in love at the first sight. It is really a hot topic. I am wondering that what they can figure out just rely on the first sight. But love is an amazing thing indeed. We cannot know what will happen when we fall in love with others. One more thing, William’s pride makes influence. But after struggling, he found that

he loved girl very much so he decided to strive for true love. To conclude, true love cannot be affected by time, space and any uncertain factors. Never give up.

Finally, William’s sister makes a deep impression on me. She is a brave girl. I like her personality. By the way, the music in the film is pretty good. From my point of view, if the plots would be compact, the film will be prefect.

In my opinion this is the best Cinderella story that there is. The characters are fantastic! With all their different personalities coming together, it really makes the story fun to watch. I watched this movie when it first came out thirty years ago. The music is wonderful. Just what you would expect. The take on the story is a little different but not so different as to disappoint diehard Cinderella fans. There is more of a back story to the Prince and a new dilemma keeping him and Cinderella apart. The stepmother and stepsisters are divine. They nailed the parts. The fairy godmother is a riot and probably my favorite character in this movie. The incidental love story of the prince's companion-at-arms and a lady-in-waiting is very charming. I have always loved fairy tales and I was not disappointed in the retelling of one of the world's favorites.

地心历险记的观后感 I liked many aspects of the movie..Anita Briem was very likable and I have always liked Brendan Frasier. I thought the special effects were very good, and a lot of the 3D effects were a lot of fun. More than once, I wanted to reach out in front of me and grab something ing off the screen. The bad part, was that the plot was just plain silly. It tried to stay glued together like National Treasure, which was also far fetched, but it never really quite made it. While I realize this was an action/adventure movie, some of the sequences were just too outlandish to garner any believability. The original made in the late 50's had a greater impact on me than this one did. But to balance out this critique, it was an enjoyable movie and I don't regret seeing it in 3D. I just think that with a little more effort, it could have gone from a ligheight yet entertaining movie, to a really strong blockbuster.。
